A software less computer? At first glance, it would seem that these words are inconsistent together. Surely, a softwareless computer is nothing more than a glorified paper weight or perhaps a future boat anchor. However, in the never ending evolution of software, computers, and related technology, a softwareless computer is actually becoming both a reality and source of efficiency.

With the coming introduction of Microsoft Vista, GRISOFT is discontinuing the AVG 7.1 version and is replacing it with the AVG 7.5 version. The 7.5 version is now compatible with Vista.

Has Microsoft just become complacent in their marketing efforts? Well, not exactly, but then again when all new computers are soon coming with the Vista operating system preinstalled, who needs hype. Like it or not, it is only a matter of time before everyone is on Vista. It seems that the tech community does not really see any overly compelling reason to upgrade.
Performing some regular maintenance on your computer may just save you some pain and suffering. Here is a quick list of some of my essentials:
Microsoft Office Accounting 2007 has packaged together an assortment of features, which combined with other products like Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager, provides the opportunity for ease of use and business growth.
The last update to IE was five years ago. Yes, five years! In computer years, that is an eternity. A whole lot of water goes under the bridge in five years… Now, the latest release of IE is version 7. Most reviews of the product are praising the product features but basically concluding that it is only meeting the level of the competition rather than blowing by them.
Times are good for small business. The economy is riding a nice wave of prosperity for one. Also though, competition is brisk within the small business segment of accounting software providers. QuickBooks and Peachtree have long provided competing products with unique features to each. Now with the more recent entrance of Microsoft into this market segment, the competition is in full force.
